Performance spotlight: Storycraft with Kevin Kling
JAY BOLLER | Updated 8/17/2012
Kevin Kling
Local storyteller and playwright Kling has long been a Minnesota Public Radio favorite. With his Storycraft event at the station's UBS Forum, he's bringing 11 other accomplished yarn-spinners together to answer one question: "What do we trust?" The event is the culmination of months of work from Kling-led workshops in Duluth and St. Paul. Expect a lively and creative showcase that will utilize stories, poems, music and film. Kling -- who recently released his first children's book, "Big Little Brother" -- will also perform original material. A quaint night of storytelling, with seating capped at 100.
