Since moving into its Lyn-Lake digs last summer, Muddy Waters (2933 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls., 612-872-2232) has become a favorite haunt among Uptown's cool kids, making it No. 1 on the neighborhood's Best Bars list. Its punk-rock cachet, Euro-vibing patio and first-rate food and beer menus make the newer, boozier hangout a solid top pick. Across the river, another Muddy's (the Muddy Pig, that is; 162 N. Dale St., St. Paul, 651-254-1030) is the new No. 1, catering to a beer-centric crowd with a well-rounded tap roster. Once again Psycho Suzi's (1900 NE. Marshall St., Mpls., 612-788-9069) and Clubhouse Jäger (923 Washington Av. N., Mpls., 612-332-2686) have locked up best-bar status in their respective hoods, while Cooper (1607 Park Place Blvd., St. Louis Park, 952-698-2000) was voted suburbia's finest.
