Watch Poliça play 'Kimmel'

Depending on whom you asked, Poliça either botched its national TV debut on "Fallon" this past February or fell victim to suspect sound engineering. The electronica/R&B act returned to national spotlight last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and fared considerably better. Poliça performed "Dark Star," a cut off their 2012 debut album "Give You the Ghost," which was recently reissued via New York label Mom + Pop.

A hipster take on Auto-Tuned R&B remains firmly in the take/leave category, but frontwoman Channy Leaneagh & Co. appeared more comfortable and locked into tighter grooves. The lyrics? Still indecipherable, but that's not really the point. You can watch the performance below.
