University of Minnesota students must be feeling awfully fancy. The Minnesota Daily reports that exploding pop-rap star Iggy Azalea is set to perform the college's annual homecoming concert Oct. 17 at TCF Bank Stadium. Will Goldy join Iggy onstage? Stay tuned. Prefab Ohio dance-rock band Walk the Moon will also perform.

General admission tickets - which go on sale Sept. 9 - are $20-$25 for students and $40-$50 for the public.

Our eat-your-young celebrity culture has turned the 24-year-old Australian into something of a lightning rod, drawing charges of cultural appropriation and being generally wack (the latter holds more water). What can't be disputed is the staying power of Azalea's Charli XCX-featuring mega-hit "Fancy," which has spent 25 weeks (!) on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Correction: A previous version of this post claimed Azalea's U of M homecoming performance will be her Minnesota debut. In reality, she played the Fine Line in Minneapolis two years ago. H/T to Brian Grenz.
