Twelve Thirty
A self-centered young man becomes intimately involved with a mother and her two daughters.
The most compelling character in this talkathon — a loopy, sex-loving Satanist played by Halley Feiffer — is onscreen for 10 minutes. Otherwise, the film follows a bland Iowa City college kid as he proceeds to sleep with all three women of the Langley family. Basically a series of long, one-on-one conversations, “Twelve Thirty” uses shakycam closeups as shortcuts to “realism” without often feeling authentic. (121 min.) Rob Nelson. 2 out of 4 stars
