Vita.mn's Best of Summer Short Stories
For Vita.mn’s third annual Summer Story Contest, readers had the task of writing a short that somehow incorporated the theme of "sex," fact or fiction, for the chance to win $750 cash and be published in an issue of Vita.mn.
From more than 100 entries, our finalists will be chosen and asked to read their work at Brave New Workshop in our Best of Summer Short Stories event. New this year at the event is "crowd-favorite" voting that will award one winner a Kindle eReader. Guests will also be treated to free pre-show apps from Gai Gai Thai and burlesque from Lili's after the readings. Vita.mn's Alexis McKinnis will be the evening's emcee.
The winning story (not the "fan favorite") and three runners-up will be printed in the issue the following day on July 28.
The 18+ event is free and open to the public.
