The Duke Spirit and Hacienda
Hacienda has made three albums with Dan Auerbach as producer. Thankfully, the Black Keys frontman hasn’t tried too hard to make sense of theTex-Mex quartet’s psychedelic, dusty, hard-boogieing brand of rock. The latest, “Shakedown,” arrives June 19, bringing the San Antonio-reared band out on the road opening for another hard-to-peg, hazy, groove-heavy group, London’s Duke Spirit, whose blonde-bombshell singer Leila Moss helps avoid any confusion with the Delta Spirit.
