Dum Dum Girls
After last year’s delightful whir of an album for Sub Pop, “Only in Dreams,” Los Angeles’ best all-female pop-rock band since the Go-Go’s, the Dum Dum Girls, are rolling along at a steady pace. Frontwoman Dee Dee Penny — who has spent a lot of time here visiting her St. Paulite dad — and her black-clad band are getting out in the sun at Lollapalooza and other summer dates previewing a Sept. 25 EP, “End of Daze.” Teenage Moods and L’Assassins open.
