The Dunwells
The words “acoustic British folk group” never would have generated much excitement three years ago, but the Dunwells are doing well in the wake of fellow countrymen Mumford & Sons. Led by brothers Joseph and David Dunwell with a couple of their cousins, the quintet recorded their debut album at Willie Nelson’s Pedernales Studio with Roxy Music bassist John Porter producing, and they also made a new single, “So Beautiful,” helmed by Jayhawks and Black Crowes producer George Drakoulias. They’re playing an intimate set here between stops at Lollapalooza and the Edmonton Folk Fest. Chris Riemenschneider
