Prabal Gurung for Target
After a disappointing holiday collaboration with Neiman Marcus, Target is back on its game with a collection from Prabal Gurung. The New York-based designer, who has dressed Michelle Obama and Kate Middleton, has come up with an 80-piece collection of accessories, apparel and footwear in punchy brights and flashy florals. Judging by previews, it’s worth getting a jump on. Priced from $19.99 to $199.99, the collection will be available beginning Sunday at all Target locations and at www.target.com, with several online exclusives.
Post- debuts jewelry line
After six years of selling vegan handbags and accessories, local line Post- is making its way into the jewelry market via a collaboration with jewelry designer Karin Jacobson, known for her clean, minimalist aesthetic. The jewelry, featuring charms embossed with irreverent phrases, will be celebrated with a launch party Saturday, at which guests can customize their own charm with purchase. Best of all, the line is affordably priced at $50 to $85. (5-10 p.m. Sat. Moto-i, 2940 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls. www.postdash.com.)
