SUNDAY

Naked Girls Reading: Rock N Roll

The Naked Girls are back with another edition of their racy literary series. For the uninitiated, the concept is as simple as it sounds: naked girls, reading — with strategically placed books. The concept was born in 2009 in Chicago, the brainchild of showgirl Michelle L’amour, and has spawned chapters in 16 North American cities and London. This month’s readers are burlesque performer and Ballet of the Dolls dancer Queenie von Curves, L’Assassins frontwoman Tea Simpson and the Amendments vocalist Christal Odin, who’ll tip their hat to rock ’n’ roll, reading excerpts from biographies about Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, Joan Jett and other icons. (7 p.m. Sun. $15-$20. The Ritz Theater, 345 13th Av. NE., Mpls. 612-436-1129. www.ritz-theater.org.)
