Twin Cities' best vinyl-only dance nights.

10:30 p.m. Tuesdays • Icehouse • $2

Blending classic style with contemporary chic, the Eat Street mixology venue Icehouse is a perfect home for Lady Heat's weekly Hot Soul parties. The crate-digging trio of Christy Hunt, Danielle Morris and Sara Jean Hanson spin a mod-ish mix of retro soul with a hint of garage during their Tuesday-night get-downs. The scenestresses' all-vinyl sets, replete with deep cuts like Rufus Lumley's "Minneapolis, Minnesota" and soul-funk classics like "Funky Nassau," are as warm as a shot of 12-year-old whiskey, served neat, of course.
