| If you had attended the "burlesk" festival and then gone out to a modern strip club, I can guarantee you would had two wildly different experiences in terms of the sexuality on display, the talent level, the sexual and financial politics, and your overall enjoyment. | I agree with Sophie. Being an artist myself I constantly watch the hipster artsy fartsies make up rules to try and back up ideas such as burlesque or roller derby. No one really cares about the derby, it's just scantily clad chicks putting on a show for the guys. Sure most of the girls are kind of punk. [...] |
