I've been so busy trying to do taxes (not my ace sport) that I haven't been paying any attention to the date, or to the fact that St. Patrick's Day is in just 4 days.

Horgen's got a nice rundown of the festivities around town. Anybody taking part? Or have something better planned?

I'm faux-Irish (don't let the last name fool you) but I'll probably be hanging out at home, plowing through tax-deductible receipts, glass of wine in hand.

St.Patrick's Day is more then green beer and free light rail transit. It is a day for Irish people to celebrate their heritage. It might mean drinking a Guinness for some, eating CornBeef and Hash for others. Either way be safe, have fun... and maybe the luck of the Irish will be with you all year.

As the Unofficial light-rail spokes person here, I might add that it's free on St. Patrick's Day. I don't know if I'm going to find that useful or not. It sounds like St. Paul could be a good time. Sven Sundgaard is their Parade's Grand Marshall. I'm still trying to make plans as well.
