Venue reviews
The stage is yours!
Patrick's Cabaret is one best informal performance venues in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They held a cabaret twice a month with all kinds of performers. Dance, music, stories, etc. It's a great venue both for new and emerging artists and established trying out new stuff. Rating: *****
Entertainment for all ages
St. Paul (and the Twin Cities) should be really proud to be the home of Circus Juventas. These people do really great work with children all ages. I was really amazed to so many children being proud of their work, happy, having fun and doing lots of difficult tricks! They have also being openings for Cirque du Soleil shows for a while. Good job!!! Rating: *****
busy nights
I have always eaten sober (at Uptown Diner or anywhere else) :-)
It's really amazing the interesting crowds you can find here at odd hours (3 am... 5 am...). The food is pretty good. Nice selection of American food and I think it's reasonably priced. I liked their malts, they are spectacular, but I just like them. Service is usually good.

All language levels are welcome, from beginning to advanced. Our villagers come from all 50 states and more than 40 countries. Charter transportation is available.
Learning language, and water skills!Native speakers and American language professionals help make total immersion possible. More than 1,200 summer staff positions create a 1:5 staff-villager ratio. Nice and cozy neighborhood theater
Zaraawar Mistry (ex-Artistic Director of Center for Independent Artists) and family have done a great job with this new arts space. They offer classes, workshops and performances in theater, music, puppetry, dance and more. It's an intimate 40-seat theater at street level, as well as a spacious basement studio for classes and meetings. It's a great venue for all sort of artists who want to start exploring the St. Paul scene. Visit it soon! Rating: ****

thanks, thanks a lot vita.mn! i'll use and show my nokia 770 with pride! is there a small vita.mn sticker that can be added to it? :-)
... and kbyoung83.. i'll do my best to take photos inside venues next time :-)
Yes, I also would like to see more Fringe coverage by Vita.MN! I hope you cover a diverse variety of performers and not just the all time favorites. Those newbies deserve a chance, too! :-)
I went to Riverfront and I think there were not as good as last year's.
Where did everyone go this year? And what do you think is the best place to see the fireworks?
Gee! It was so amusing to follow news about lines of customers at Apple and AT&T stores everywhere. It's amazing how people got so crazy with this new fashionable gadget. Will the iPhone become the new "stupid box"? Will we it be names "stupid brick"? Will it help people visit vita.mn more often and post comments?
Did you get yours? What are you waiting for?

Music, dance and poetry come together again at Patrick's Cabaret to show off the cultural diversity of the Twin Cities. Paulino brings together talented local artists for two nights where the common thread is golden: la cultura hispana. Don't miss it!
