... Is the ULTIMATE FUN BAR! posted by BrittyLee on Mar. 16, '09 at 8:57 AM
Sneaky's is the perfect place to spend your Afternoon for lunch with friends or clients, Happy Hour to unwind with coworkers, or Evening to party. The place has an amazing menu with great pricing and the food is all made from scratch in house. Get the tots, they are my favorite with the Sneaky Pete's Jerk Chicken!
In the Spring, Summer, and Fall Lunch is enjoyed both inside and my favorite, outside on their two story patio. The patio is heated so in the winter we go out and smoke there.
Happy Hour is super cheap with $1, $2, $3 Drinks and $2-$3 Apps. Their prices and food blow the Uptown competition out of the water.
We go to Sneaky Pete's every time we're downtown to party, because they have the best crowd and great DJs.
We happened to catch the last home Vikings game there this year and let me tell you, Sneaky's knows how to throw a pre-game, half-time, post-game party! I am looking forward to Twins Season since they right at the Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue Station!

Really? Body shots are required? I have to go back soon... posted by AlphaBean on Aug. 14, '08 at 3:41 AM
I have been to Sneaky Pete's three times. Early Saturday night, Late Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
Sunday afternoon I was there to watch a Vikings game. They have excellent food and drink deals during sporting events, especially when it's a home game. This is great, because their bar food is underrated, borderline awesome. It's also pretty new and unique recipes. It was a very nice, relaxed atmosphere at this time.
I went early Saturday after going to Fogo, and while I felt like I was being served by a Hooters girl, I've found the waitresses at least have something of a personality. If they are forced to do body shots, that's unfortunate but I'm sure it definitely gives Sneaky Pete's an advantage over other bars. Despite my subject, I don't plan on partaking. Something of note, at about 7 PM they rolled out the stripper pole. Trashy? Naaaaaah.
Late Saturday night... a bachelor party. The dance floor was full, there were girls on the bar passing out tee shirts and pouring shots into people's mouths. We put the groom on the stripper pole (it wasn't used the rest of the night), and I kind of forgot what happened after that.
So it's not the classiest bar in Minnesota, so what? They can't all be Drink.

WRONG...its modern! posted by dwhite222 on Mar. 10, '08 at 4:17 PM
This place is not trashy...the patrons are the exact same as every other club/bar in the cities. Sure the wait staff looks like strippers, but they arent (ask management). SPs has done nothing cheap...everything is new and modern. Flat screens in the bathrooms??? cmon...thats priceless! They need more live music because their sound system is good...but wait until their Pub opens downstairs...and the patio is finished outside. This place is fun for HH, sporting events and dancing...but later at night when its full. If you are looking for a sit down at the bar type place...dont go there after 11pm.

Simply walking into Sneaky Pete's makes me feel dirty. This place is so sleazy. If a guy in the bar wants to take a body shot off of any of the ladies working there, they have to do it. They're not allowed to say no. Real classy. Just like the trailer trash and ghetto people hanging out inside. You can tell this place is owned by the owners od a strip club.

Traditional English fare including Scotch eggs, bangers and mash, Cornish pasties, as well as salads, burgers and vegetarian dishes. Upper-level patio with outdoor dining and grass lawn for lawn bowling.
The Dakota's bar, restaurant and peerless live-music venue all
work in well-rehearsed harmony. The food boasts the nuance, imagination and technical prowess of some of the city's top kitchens, but its tone is playfully approachable and full of surprises. At dnner, highlights include crostini with a glossy smoked trout rillette; fried oysters on a celery-root salad; curry-rubbed pork, roasted in an apple cider grilled lamb, and even plain-old roast chicken and wild rice. The wine list has a wide range of all-American choices.
Lively restaurant and bar serving southern food, including jambalaya and barbecued ribs. The generously portioned family style Sunday brunch is popular.
The loud, high-energy rock 'n roll-themed chain restaurant, Minneapolis edition.
You've probably encountered the food before - at Planet Hollywood, Applebee's, Chili's or wherever: potato skins, Buffalo chicken wings, onion rings, breaded chicken breast strips, "Southwestern" egg rolls, nachos, fettuccine with cream sauce, grilled chicken breast, barbecued ribs, etc. The taste components are pretty elemental: crunchy, salty, hot, oily, sometimes sweet, and all served in very big portions. Not that it matters, because nobody goes to the Hard Rock for the cuisine.
Prices seem high compared with other casual chain restaurants
that serve the same kind of fare, but here you aren't really paying for the food. You are paying for the magic of the Hard Rock brand, and it's tough to place a price on that.
If you want to live dangerously, try the delicious original Jucy Lucy at Matt's Bar, bite into the juicy half-pound burger, releasing the pool of molten American cheese at its center.
Creative Mexican cuisine, incorporating the use of various Mexican peppers and spices to prepare dishes like Puerco con Nopalitos en Salsa Roja, Camarones a la Diabla and Salmon Tatemado, in addition to standard Mexican favorites.
